014 // 365 | Distracted
I had intended on writing all day today, and instead I ended up rolling around pots (with some help, stupid hip injury), re-potting plants, tidying outside my van a little, and walking around camp with my mum.
I also started researching the possibility of me having a stall at Supanova … unfortunately it isn’t likely to happen. Can’t get the funds together fast enough. Not for Melbourne, at any rate. I could get myself a stall, but there’s no way I could afford to get any banners/advertising, or swag prepared in time — let alone do print runs of my books (this one is the killer — could actually probably manage the rest)! Depending on circumstances, I’m looking at seeing what I can perhaps do about Sydney, Adelaide, or Brisbane instead, but we’ll see.
I’ve set myself some ridiculous publishing goals for this year, so theoretically, you should get a few books out of me in 2018. If I stop being so distracted!! And avoid mental breakdowns…
I’m looking at doing a small print run of The Last King soon. Give a copy or two to my local library if they’ll take it. But if you’re local to me (Melbourne region) and you’d like a print copy, please contact me so I can gauge how many I should get printed in the one hit. When the time comes, I’ll likely do the same for The Gem of Orithian ♥
You stay awesome, and I’ll try stop stressing! xx
